Maxicare's Hot Toddy...

...he sure is a tiger!

Heelwork to music

Heelwork to music is the main discipline that I like to focus on, mainly because I enjoy it so much! It is great because any dog can do it, no matter thier size and age. The moves can be adapted so that they suit the dog, this means that mum doesn't make me do anything that I don't want to! (There is no way she's going to get me crawling across the floor, I'm not a slug!)

We only so HTM for fun, and we don't take it particualry seriosuly. We love taking part in demonstrations at local fetes and shows, the crowd seem to really enjoy watching a "dancing dog" too. I really hope that me and mum continue to love HTM, and that she will keep teaching me tricks that can be incorporated into routines. Maybe one day she will get her act together so that we can actually achieve something. Until then, I guess I'll just have to make do with an amateur handler that can't cope with my talents!

This is Mum and I perfoming to "Hakuna Matata" at Northampton Dragon Boat Racing Festival in 2008. This was my third ever time in the ring, but I think Mum was more scared than me!

This is a little bit of Mum and I perfoming to "Upside down" at Stoneleigh country fair in September 2008. For this routine, a member of the audience chose a song, so we had to make a routine up on the spot.

Wow! If you want a laugh, THIS is for you! Mum and I were invited to perform on the Royal Theatre's stage in Northampton in January 2009. Well, as you can see, it didn't go to plan! (Meryl and Pepper perform a routine to "Stayin' alive" by the Bee Gees.
Mum and I then take over, SUPPOSEDLY to show them how things are done, but I was in awe of the cheering audience and slippery stage. That'll show 'em!)
