Maxicare's Hot Toddy...

...he sure is a tiger!

My doggy tail...

Hi, my names Toddy. I came from a dog rehoming centre when I was 6 months old in March 2004. My Mummy got me because she thought I was a brindle lurcher, but as I began to grow, I started to look more and more like a staffy cross!

After I had been living with my new family for a couple of weeks, I had already caused lots of mischief. My Mum really wasn't impressed when I cost her over £100 for an over night vet stay. All I did was eat some pink pants, and to help the nice people at the vets, I threw it up for  them anyway! I admit, it was on her lap, but that was an accident!

I am my Mum's first dog, although she had trained other people's dogs before she got me. She was only 11 years old when we found each other, and I was given to her (she didn't get to choose me). I don't think she liked me much at first, but she worked really hard ot stop me being so naughty. Now I try really hard to be a good dog, although I do sometimes forget!!

It took a while for me to start my classes at dog school, I had to have these nasty needles stabbed in my neck first. When I did start at my local classes, I took part in the Kennel Club's puppy foundation assessment. I really enjoyed taking part in the lessons, I think my Mummy enjoyed them too! By the end of the 8 week course, I had passed the assessment with flying colours! My Mummy was really proud of me.

I now train in basic obedience, flyball, heelwork to music, and I hoping to start going to handling classes. I love working with my Mum, she has always got plenty of sausages and cheese!
